Mary-Louise Parker

Mary-Louise Parker (born August 2, 1964) is an American actress. After making her Broadway debut in Craig Lucas's Prelude to a Kiss, in 1990, Parker was nominated for an Tony Award for the role of Rita. She starred as Amy Gardner on NBC's television series The West Wing from 2001 until 2006. As a result of this role, she received a nomination in 2002 for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in the Drama Series. For her role as Harper Pitt in the HBO miniseries Angels in America, she won the Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. She also won an award for her performance in the series, a Primetime Emmy Award and a Primetime Emmy Award. In 2006, Parker was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series. In 2007 Parker received three nominations for The Primetime Emmy Award in Outstanding Lead Actress in Comedy Series. She also was awarded the Golden Globe Award in 2006 for Best Actress in Red (2010) and Red. (2013) and Red 2 (2013). Parker returned to Broadway in the year 2019, and she appeared in The Sound Inside. This show won her her third Tony Award for Best Actress. Since 2007, Parker has contributed articles to Esquire magazine and released her memoir, Dear Mr. You, in 2015. She was the lead in Roma Guy in the ABC miniseries "When We Rise" in 2017. In 2018, she starred as a consultant to the political on the show Billions on Showtime.
