Dawson was born on May 9, 1979. She is an American actress, producer , and
director. Her debut in a feature film was in 1995's independent drama Kids. Her
roles in subsequent films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the
Pussycats (2002). Dawson has voiced for Warner Bros./DC Comics, Disney/Marvel
and ViacomCBS Nickelodeon. She was also nominated for the Critics Choice Movie
Award for the Best Actress in a Comedy for Top Five (2014), Trance (2013), Top
Five (2014) Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson was born May 9 1979, in New
York City. Her mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican
ancestry. Isabel was 16 years old when Rosario was born. She never married
Rosario's biological father, Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was a girl the first
children of her mother's marriage to Greg Dawson (a construction worker).
Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson
is also well-known for her roles in comic-book adaptations.These include Gail
in Sin City (2005) and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014), Claire Temple in
five of the series by Marvel/Netflix (2015-2018), and providing the voices of
Diana Prince/Wonder Women in the DC Animated Movie Universe and Space Jam: A
New Legacy and Barbara Gordon/Batgirl on The Lego Batman Movie. The actress was
Ahsoka Tano's character on The Mandalorian's second season in 2020. Also, she
will play the lead role in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. In 2021, she
will reprise her role as Young Rock, a Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy.
