Aaron Jeffery

Jeffery is a Logie Award-winning New Zealand-Australian actor. He is best known
for his performances as Terry Watson in Water Rats, as Alex Ryan in McLeod's
Daughters, and as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was
born in Auckland and relocated to Australia as a teenager. He was a student at
NIDA. After graduating from NIDA, he began his television career with the
children's series Ship to Shore. Jeffery is well-known for his part in McLeod's
Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in the year 2008. He also appeared on
the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama. Jeffery was also
seen as Frank in Underbelly: Badness. On 22 June it was the day he finished
filming. Three days later, it was announced Jeffery had joined the cast of
Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. In October, it was announced that
Jeffery was assigned as an Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's series
Between Two Worlds starred Jeffery. In April 2021 it was announced that Jeffery
was to be part of the upcoming Netflix thriller series Pieces of Her, which is
adapted from the Karin Slaughter novel of the same title. In 2004 and 2007,
Jeffery won the Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor in Drama Series for his
part in McLeod's Daughters.
