Mila Kunis Bio

 Mila Kunis was born Milena Kunis in the Ukrainian city of Chernivtsi on the 14th of August 1983. At the age of seven, Kunis immigrated to the United States with her parents, Mark and Elvira, along with her elder brother, Michael, and eventually settled in Los Angeles. It was a hard beginning for the Kunis families, who came to their new home having only $250. Kunis parents decided to quit their careers to relocate and set out to provide their children a better life. Mark, who was a mechanical engineer, landed a job as an Uber driver. Elvira had previously taught Physics in Ukraine and eventually owned the pharmacy. "I did not know the culture," Kunis has said about first arriving to the United States. "I didn’t understand the people. I didn't understand their language. My first sentence of my essay to get into college was like"Imagine being blind and deaf at the age of 7.' And that's what it was like moving to America. I quickly got over it. Milena Markovna Kunis is daughter of Mark Kunis (Ukraine) and Elvira (Chenivtsi), Ukraine. Her birth date was on the 14th of August, 1983. She is the elder sister to her older brother. Her mother works as a teacher of physics, however, she runs a pharmacy well, while her father is an engineer in mechanical engineering by profession, who is also taxi driver. Her family is of Jewish descent.The family relocated Los Angeles when she was seven. Rosewood Elementary School was her first school. She started acting classes when she was nine. She was a candidate for a couple of commercials and then began her career on television in her first part on 'Days of our Lives', in 1994.She played small roles as a young actor on "Honey, We Shrunk Ourself and 'Santa with Muscles' and the Angelina Jolie's film 'Gia'. The first time she was cast on the 1998 sitcom That ’70s show as Jackie Burkhart. Her performance was praised by the critics. In 1999 she was given the role of Meg Griffin on the animated sitcom Family Guy.
